How To Buy Airtel Credit From MPESA

 

There are two main ways to buy Airtel credit from Mpesa in Kenya

Method 1: Pay Bill

1. Go to the M-pesa Menu. Open your M-pesa menu on your phone.
2. Select "Pay Bill".
3. Enter Business No. 220220.
4. Enter Account No. "AIRTXXXXXX" (Replace XXXXXX with your Airtel mobile number).
5. Specify the amount. Enter the amount of airtime you want to purchase.
6. Enter your M-pesa PIN and send. Review the details and confirm the transaction with your PIN.

Method 2: USSD Menu

1. *Dial 382#. This is the general USSD menu for Airtel Kenya.
2. Select "Buy Airtime".
3. Choose "Buy for Own Phone" or "Other Phone". Select the option based on whether you're buying for yourself or someone else.
4. Enter the amount.
5. Enter your mobile banking PIN and send. Confirm the transaction with your PIN.
