How to Buy Telkom Airtime from MPESA

 

Method 1: Pay Bill

1. Open the M-Pesa Menu on your phone.
2. Select "Pay Bill".
3. Enter the Telkom business number:
   • For Prepaid: 220220
   • For Postpaid: 544900
4. Enter your Telkom phone number in the "Account Number" field:
   • For Prepaid: TELKXXXXXX (Replace XXXXXX with your Telkom mobile number)
   • For Postpaid: TKPPXXXXXX (Replace XXXXXX with your Telkom mobile number)
5. Enter the amount of airtime you want to purchase.
6. Enter your M-Pesa PIN and send. Review the details and confirm the transaction.

Method 2: USSD Menu

1. *Dial 160# on your phone. This is the USSD menu for Telkom Kenya's T-kash service.
2. Select "Buy Airtime".
3. Choose "Buy My Phone" or "Other Phone". Select the option based on whether you're buying for yourself or someone else.
4. Enter your Telkom phone number (or the recipient's number if buying for someone else).
5. Enter the amount of airtime you want to purchase.
6. Enter your T-kash PIN and send. Confirm the transaction with your PIN.
